2009 Audi S4 Video Car Review – NRMA Drivers Seat

This item was filled under [ Cars ]

Scott Nargar from NRMA Drivers Seat road tests one of the hottest sports sedans on the market – the Audi S4. This model is a signs of the times with environmental concerns finally out weighting the roar of the popular, though thirsty, V8. But dont panic, the new 3.0LTFSI engine may have slightly less power than the V8 it replaces but it is actually faster while having the added benefit of lower fuel consumption.

@props28 Personally, I find BMW interiors to be a little bit boring when compared with Audi. Thats just my opinion.

wow , this is really a very good review , bmw 335i is always been my top option in a compact car category but after seeing this review im considering this S4 as a serious contender

This is so dumb. Thanks for just reading the catalog for all of us and not telling us what it’s actually like to drive. Idiot.

@juukame it’s not that easy. when you import an american car to another country, most likely you will be charged a sizable duty. The car ends up being equal to or more expensive than it already is in that country

I drive a 09 s4 v8 convertible. I paid $55000 for that car, after 6 month it had 2 large oil leaks, elecrical problems,it’s been in the shop 3 weeks for warranty repairs. never again i will buy audi again.

sometimes i wonder if it’s more economical for car buyers in other countries to buy their car in america and then have it shipped to wherever, versus just buying it within their own country, seriously.

@bboyfbk yeah, it’s quite surprising how much more expensive cars are outside the states(even when taking currency exchange rates into account)

@aryaxt Because this car is a competitor for BMW and Mercedes, at the same time it is much more inexpensive and you get about the same performance and luxury.

Really? Here in eastern Europe the Audi S4 with S-Tronic and with NO OPTIONS AT ALL costs more than 90. 000$, so twice that much. Cars in USA are extremely cheap, that’s not fair. . .
