We have one of these, may be getting another at the end of the year. Best car ever, definatly be getting one for myself in a couple of years :D

Plus it has a hell of a lot of room, which is good when going on long journeys

Hehe the new Land Rover is probably a better option then. Expensive as they are. You know what you should do. . . Dump the dollar in favour of the Euro as the international oil currency and you can, for a while, buy american cars dirt cheap when the dollar drops by 20-30% over night :)

Altho. . USA would probably declare war if you do.

VEry true, though I had a 2005 model cayenne S and it did kinda sorta deal with the dunes here. . . then sank and we had to have a buddy’s Nissan Patrol pull it out. So no, they are in the same class in some ways and in others in others. Also, the new cayenne is even less of an off roader. I am actually considering the rover, BUT only in Nov when the 2010 models are cheaper as dealers get ready for the 2011s. I think it’s rugged bulkiness is it’s plus for sure.

Well it probably also weighs 2. 5 ton which is alot to drag around. However I think this vehicle is the most exciting one out of USA for years. After all. . this is a market where they dont have any competition from Europe or Japan.

The Porsche SUV, despite its pricetag has been massively populair and has lifted Porsches income quite alot however. . . its not for offroad is it.

375 hp for the NA one, 510 hp for the supercharged one. Torque numbers close in and around. Still with all that power the 510hp one only does a 6 second sprint to 60 and its top speed is 140 mph. A cayenne would slay this thing on the street. Though Im gonna guess this would go some places where the Porsche cant. So you want big, bulky, and mean, or elegant and fast. . . I kinda like it’s bulkiness.

The HSE starts at about 62,000/- Euros here in the UAE. Thats without the supercharger. Its insanely expensive here. Then again, so is everything else. a markup of 10-25K DOLLARS isnt weird on most BMW cars for example.
