Behind the Wheel: ZENN Electric Car – Review – Part 2

This item was filled under [ Cars ]

Rob Greenlee shows the exterior of the 100% Electric car called the ZENN which means “Zero Emissions No Noise” and is blue in color and has a large sunroof. It is an electric car the you can buy TODAY ($12-17000) in the USA that will go up to 35 MPH (in Washington State Only) and has a range of about 40 miles on regular marine battery technology. This is part 2 of 2 videos about his car. I also made a review video about the Toyota Camry Hybrid that can be found on YouTube.

This car’s speed is forced at 35mph for ONE reason and ONE reason ONLY!
The Government, The Auto Industry, and The Petroleum Consortium doesn’t wanna SEE THESE CARS GAIN IN POPULARITY! After all, who’ll be interested in a car that can’t go any higher then 35MPH!!! lol GOD I HATE THOSE FUCKERS!!!

So yeah I can take an electric golf cart and throw some fiberglass on it too. Seriously this thing even looks like a golf cart which surprise surprise have about same top speed and range. Give me a break. It would be interesting to see if a golf course would let you use it on their course LOL.

I was told that the Zenn can go faster, but it has a limiter on it and in Washington State it can be driven up to 35 miles per hour.

25 mph, and no more than 35 miles range.

    Doesn’t pass U. S. crash tests.

Sorry, no interest. “Coming next year, better battery technology, etc”

    Yes, sure. Next year.

it could be able to handle crashes at higher speeds if they made it that way. . . the slow electric car is annoying me. . . i dont mean i want to race but i want something called high way speeds. . . california did it before this car was introduced why cant they do it again(i speak of the “who killed the electric car” movie)

but the news the last couple of years has been the same, Lockheed Martin showing interest in the company was a sign of hope,-for 2009- but nobody’s going to wait that long a third time . . . and if from my posts you surmise me as a self-certified authority in supercapacitors than you either have a very vivid imagination or judging from the mentally challanged comment you have anger management issues, either way i wont be holding my breath for eestor

i searched till 2008 . . . . and the news always says its going to come out in 200X – one year later than the current date whatever that is, i will be very happy if they really start producing these since what got me interested in cars again was electric cars

Are you mentally challenged. I type in ‘EEStor 2009′ and there’s an entire page full of links to the latest story. What are you, the authority on supercaps? You can tell it’s vaporware yet are seeming unable to do a simple google search?

i have been searching for the last 3 hours for new EEstor news – week April 20′ 2008 . . . there seems to be nothing, this is still vaporware

EEstors actually a hoax, so we wont be seeing their battery counterpart

  • marccolbeck
    14 August, 2011, 11:19

According to information from the ZENN site, the EEStor isn’t ready for market yet, but the ZENN company has the exclusive rights for the market for small cars (so you won’t see it in a Ford or Toyota or other car manufacturer), and the global rights for conversion of all existing internal combustion vehicles to the new battery system when it is ready for market.
