    First, I’d like to know why he had to replace his batteries. Second, how often. Third, how much money to do so. Fourth question, would he have to be replacing them as often if he didn’t drag race? Also, has John thought about starting his own car company and building these cars or started a show to be paid to convert current gas cars to electric?

    @TruthIsUniversal It’s not hard to check what you post here. Just grab a radiation detector and check it while driving a electrical car.

    Free energy has been here all along ,But some very powerfull ppl don’t want you and me to be free from energy costs,Find the real deal, a free energy device at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,Join the energy revolution!

    @ellinaras75

    EMF, as in electromagnetic field? Sorry, but that’s simply not an issue. Electromagnetic fields envelop every aspect of everything around you all the time regardless of any technology. Electromagnetic radiation from electric motors is not ionizing. The high energy electromagnetic waves that you have to worry about are the higher than light frequencies such as x-rays and ultraviolet light, not the lower than light frequencies such as the infrared radiation your own body generates.

    @ellinaras75 Simple is always good in my book if it gets the job done safely. I see way more potential for electric fueled vehicles then petroleum based fueled vehicles. Way too much engineering for petroleum based vehicles. If the same engineering went into EVs. . .

    I don’t see too much engineering involved in this. The motor is in the front and he is wasting power transferring the power through an axel to the rear.

    Btw maybe there is no gas but there is always a concern about the high EMF in these home made (and not home made like the first gen insight) electric cars.

    @freedombiteback Not that I am aware of at this time. You can take a look at diyelectriccar. com. The Soliton controller seems to be a good alternative.

    with an alternator a simple power inverter could supply your needs. . . i’m not so smart with this stuff, but it MAKES SENSE. . . . you can change the voltage regulator IN the alternator to allow HIGHER power generation. . . . you already have a custom computer done under the hood. build another for charge control. . . . i would image it would HAVE to be build custom by someone, but i believe all things are possible, so just dropping suggestions to people that maybe better off then myself. advicefree

    how come you don’t use an ALTERNATOR? i’ve been watching these videos, and i’m just like WHY not USE an ALTERNATOR????!!! then you would CHARGE, as you go???

    If I were going to make a “green” drag car, I’d do it with a 426 Hemi burning high-octane gasoline! Yes, that’s right, gasoline. But, instead of having someone drill it out of the ground like a moron, I’d have it grown from algae. That way, all of the carbon in the gasoline is taken from the atmosphere first, making it carbon-neutral. The rest is just water and sunlight. Sunlight is easy to find, and algae are happy with saltwater, which is in almost infinite abundance.

    Viva la gasoline!

    I am building my own HHO and its nearly finished. I will try it first on my sun’s car(it is a old cheap polo :-) ) and then hopefully Soon Electric. . . . . GOOD LUCK WITH IT. .

    Very cool I’ll admit.
    I think this won’t help me none in drifting, and even if it did. . . I’ll still stick with my gas engines.
