    good vid keep up the good work just a tip for the toggle switch you can find an 12 v aux wire on the rear of the ignition this saves the amp getting left on when 1 forgets to flick the toggle switch off

    Dude

    Got a problem. I’m running two amp’s with very limited air space. What would be the best way to keep them cool. I thought about running a water cooled fan. It’s a closed sys that would not leak. Or shoutld I just make a rack and mount a couple fans, one blowing on the amps and on as the exhaust? Let me know what you think.

    i have a toggle switch, i think its better to use one because for when you dont want bass you can just turn the amp off opposed to haveing your remote wire hooked up to your radio

    @EXOabigdeal With that guys psu proberlms theres no way that the 12volt rail on the psu has enough amperage to power that amp when he starts turning it up it will light up the amp and may put it a little amount of power but its not enough the most amperage i seen for a psu is 36amps and thats on a 1200 watt psu and thats peak not rms im just wondering wether a cap could help to stabilize the load probs not

    Tyler00rm250@ high level input is like speaker wire, say if you ran speaker wire from your speakers to your amp that is where you would connect it. Low level input is the red and white RCA cables, if you have an aftermarket headunit, there will be outputs on the back for these cables to connect to your amplifier. They both do the same thing but the low level might sound a bit better!

    @jonathanwallace18 I THINK that if they are dual voice coil you can wire them in series and cut them to 2ohm. . . . . BUTTT you lose half of you’re power handling and clarity

    @jonathanwallace18 that is like the same situation i have going on, three twelves just like that

    @jonathanwallace18
    hey man, if you have the ability to wire
    he 4 ohm speaker down to 2 ohms that
    might work. search “subwoofer wiring” on
    youtube. If your speakers are high end enough
    it should do the trick.

    I don’t think that would fix it but it might.

    i have 3 12’s 2 of them are 2ohm and the other is a 4ohm, i dont know how i got them wired but they work but the 4 is moving slower, if i change the 4ohm to a 2ohm would that make a big difference. please give me a answer

    as far as im aware, you can parallel PSUs the same way you can car batteries with no side effects. . . . the only problem is if you try to series them! The whole car amp home setup thing is a tricky one as you only ever seem to max about 11. 8v with PSUs, rather than 13. 5 from the car batteries, so youre gonna loose some RMS there. . if only there was an easy way. . . ;)

    For whoever is wondering about the psus. please do not connect 2 at one time. I’ve experimented with that before. one of the psus will blow up.
