@BURDETTEBOY7 – I would be with a nice ported box with a low 30hz tuning for best musical results.

@EXOabigdeal – I listen to anything that has bass. I dont like country or anything like that. I mostly listen to dubstep, rap, just anything with bass. and i have a 1400 watt sony explod amp sadly cause i cant afford anything else :(

@simonson593 – That will work fine – most all subs can perform well in any box, given they are tuned correctly.

Thanks EXO love your vids man. One more question. I just bought an RE SX 18 from Sonic. It says to have a ported box from 5 to 8. 5 cubes. I would rather have a sealed since i have less room in a cab. would it be safe to do so? should i just go as big as i can with the box so the sub can move at its potential, or will it suffocate it?

@generalporfirioggonz – Extra power = Good — I would always go ported, unless you don’t enjoy lower extensions of bass. Any port will do, just tune it to the mid to low 30’s for the best musical tuning. .

@BURDETTEBOY7 – What type of music do you generally listen to, and how much power are you putting to the subs?

@simonson593 – Home Depot & Lowes – That’s all we got around here.
