The book was what I expected. I have had my vehicle serviced by Mith Zellman and what he writes is NOT always what he delivers. He quoted a price on a simple job and when I returned the price was 30% higher. This was not for parts, just for the labor part of the bill.
As far as the vendor, The book was a public library castoff. The condition was not bad but it had library marks and stickers all over it. I have bought books at my rural library’s donated book sales for 50 cents for all soft cover books. This vendor charged way too much for this kind of book. The delivery by USPS was beyond the pale! THREE WEEKS to get to me by 1st Class Book Rate. I could have bicycled from the vendor to my home and had it sooner.

This was a great book on how to maintain your vehicle. It was good advice that will save you money and guide you to the best places to get repairs done on your car when you need them.
I highly recommend this book and it was definatley worth the price.

Who would have thought that there could be so many ways in which your car repair person could rip you off? If you’re like me, and know absolutely nothing about cars, this is a must read. It actually used terms that i could understand. I recently became suspicious after my mechanic told me that I needed new brakes for the 3rd time in 1 year. This precious gem made me realize that i was being taken for a ride. I wish that my mechanic was as considerate of me as Mitchell Zelman is of his clients. THANK YOU!
